Hi sarah here again thanku for your support Sam,i have just read through all the other messages since you replied and i would like to thank you for support on my views ,but to Liz's comment i would just like to point out that that larger breeds especially GSD suffer from hip displacia due to the fact that the so called caring breeding standards wanted to see these animals with what they quoted as elegant sloping backs, unfortunatelyy like so many other breeds they didnt know when to stop, and in the and 1950-1960 they percentage of older GSD with hip problems was astronomic,i am relieved to see that the angle of sloping has decreased and the problem seems to be dropping, but how can they truly justify doing this ?
