PetTalk Deaf Male Cat with Asthma PetPlanet Vets PPAdmin pettalk@petplanet.co.uk
The standard treatment for asthma in the cat is generally steroids, and usually they are effective. It may be worth going back to your vet to have the dose reevaluated - although the dose always has to be balanced against the potential risk of side effects. Is the homeopathic remedy one that has been prescribed by a specialist homeopathic vet? If not, this is something which may be worth trying. The asthma may have worsened because of the time of year, and if this is the case it may improve again later in the year.Jen Campbell MRCVS(Vet for PetPlanet)
