Lindsay Just wanted to say I totally agree. We have a 6 month old Bearded Collie X rescued from RSPCA in Brighton. We got him at 12 weeks (everyone said this was a difficult age to take him on!). My boyfriend was originally insisting we got a pedigree dog, but after persuasion from me - we got Kito. He's the best in the world and is the most gentle and loving dog I've ever owned (even though he was abandoned in a box with his brother at Christmas last year). He comes down the yard where we have horses and is wonderful with them too. They have so much love and time to give and I certainly will be sticking to rescue dogs in the future (hoping to get another next year). Alison
