I semi trained my Dobe pup via a crate 2years ago, this was slightly marred because from the day we picked him up it rained most of the next two months (apparently one of those rain records for January and February) and he hated going out when there was nice warm carpets in doors. Next pup due to be collected in May (and if we have a rainy May and June I am excepting no responsibility!)and hopefully she will be encouraged outside to follow big brother. I had never used a crate before and wondered what others felt or had experienced. LIZ
