a puppy play biting is learning its bite inhibition, the best way to stop it is to scream out when the puppy bites, the normal reaction will be for the puppy to lick you, if the behaviour continues stand up and ignore the dog, if the lesson still doesnt sink home isolate the puppy for 5 minutes, this must be repeated every time the dog bites, he will learn! martyn blackmore
