PetTalk Crate Training Diane Williams milly millymow@lineone.net
Dear Liz
I got my cage 3yrs ago for my gsd pup as we had not long lost our other dog who did not need any thing as he was twelve when he died, but looking back to his puppyhood, he was quite slow on puppy training and also quite naughty on the chewing, so I wish we had one then, But when the family decided on getting another dog I was in dispear as we had moved house, just finished the decor and also it was a open house with a very small kitchen, so I invested in a cage, the results were instant,
we treat him like a baby, so when he fell sleep we picked him up and put him in his cage to get him used to it, and we kept all his toys in there so he could run in and out to get his toys out, it also acts as a good trainer for when you come in you don't have him greeting you straight away, you can come in , put away your shopping, maybe have a cuppa, it makes him have patience and you will fuss him when you want to and not when he want it., anyway i hope this is of some help, I've got a bit carried away but i think they are worth every penny, good luck with your new pup, Diane
